Lulu

This is my kitten Lulu, who I have had for about a month. She is so naughty and very different from my last cat Chilli who was very placid and laid back. I didn't really want to get another cat so quickly after Chilli died, but I missed having a cat and my mum encouraged me to get a kitten. I wanted to get a cat that looked different to him and a female so I wouldn't compare the two as much.

I decided on getting a ragdoll because I had heard they are very affectionate and sweet-natured cats (not to mention pretty!) The first few days at home were tense for Lulu, but now she has settled in.

I still really miss Chilli, but I feel a lot happier now that Lulu is around.

Chilli

It has been about a month since Chilli, my puffy little Persian cat, has passed. I haven’t been able to bring myself to write a post about him up until now. I found out he had cancer about two months ago.

He has been such a big part of my life the last few years; it’s difficult to believe he isn’t around anymore. I still feel like I am going to see him around the house. I can’t even imagine loving a little kitty as much as I loved little Chilli.
